Kerry Bartini, AIA, NCARB

Architect, Principal

Kerry Bartini is a proud graduate of Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island and is currently a licensed architect in the states of Massachusetts, Florida and New York. Kerry had the privilege of working in three Berkshire County architectural firms for sixteen years before becoming a partner at Berkshire Design, Inc. in January of 2018.

Kerry doesn’t remember a time when she wasn’t drawing. She has been passionate about architecture, great design and creating space since before she was old enough to know what the word architecture meant. A great education enhanced by great mentors further nurtured her love of design.

Kerry has served as an alumni ambassador for Roger Williams University for the past several years. She was also appointed to the National Council of Architectural Registration Board’s Think Tank in 2016 and served as the Think Tank Chair in 2018. She continues to serve as a Licensing Advisor and in January 2020 was appointed to be the AIA MA Licensing Advisor to NCARB. In 2017, Kerry became an executive board member of the Western Massachusetts chapter of the American Institute of Architects and will become President in 2024. In 2019, she completed the Berkshire Leadership Program and then served on the steering committee for three years.

In 2023, Kerry successfully launched the non-profit The Millie Foundation with three other Lee High School Class of 1998 graduates. The Millie Foundation awards an annual scholarship to a student or graduate of Lee Middle & High School who is pursuing a career in a design field. Kerry’s family lost Mildred Schuerer in 2020. It was important to establish the foundation in time for Millie’s first great granddaughter, MaKayla Schuerer, to graduate high school and pursue her educational goals at MCLA.

Kerry is proud to be a current member of the Berkshire Design, Inc. team, a dynamic group of individuals that bring character, life and personality to each of our projects. She has always been a designer at heart and looks forward to many years at a firm that embraces that passion.
