FIRM & HISTORY

Berkshire Design, Inc. began in 1983 under the talented hand of architect and Lenox resident Frank Macioge. Frank worked for many years in the Berkshires, while also extending his touch to projects outside of the Berkshires, as the principal retail designer for Ralph Lauren.

In 2001, Frank began transitioning his practice to Robert E Harrison. Robert brought with him his experiences as the founding principal of Blueline Design and Harrison Design Associates to Berkshire Design, Inc. and a partnership was born.

In January, 2018, after working with Robert for over a decade, as well as with two other area firms, Kerry Bartini officially joined as a principal at Berkshire Design, Inc.

At Berkshire Design, Inc., we believe in the power of collaboration and teamwork. We work hard to make sure our staff is engaged in meaningful work and confident in their abilities. We fully support architectural licensure candidates and we embrace a fun work environment. We strive to impress our clients with great design and to develop strong working relationships with contractors and consultants.
